He likes to sit next to you and just hang out. Potty and kennel trained. He is good with adults, kids or other dogs. Bluto is a 5 year old neutered male. Super loving. He is very curious and loves to investigate everything and everyone. Not shy at all. He loves to run around and adventure inside, outside, anywhere you take him. He loves to be petted and will eventually chill out. Potty and kennel trained. He is good with adults, kids or other dogs. Neither have been around cats, but don’t think they would have any issue. Previous owner states that they will take off if they don’t have a leash or get out of house/yard. They know the commands: no, kennel & outside. They eat dry dog food, no special diets.

Rocco
- Male, 6.5 years old
- Housebroken and crate-trained
- Adoption fee: $300
Hi, my name is Rocco and my foster mommy says I am the cutest, sweetest pug ever! I am 6.5 years old and both house-trained and crate-trained! I love to cuddle and never let my foster mom leave my sight. I like other dogs and cats, and am good with kids. I do well at the dog park too, even with big dogs! I am a perfect angel except my foster mommy is working on making sure that I accept food and treats more gently. I enjoy going outside, but could be happy in an apartment because I would rather be inside where the people are. I also love going for car rides to the pet store to get treats and toys!
Tank

- Adoption fee: $300
Hi, my name is Tank. I am a healthy 8 year old, 25 lb, male, fawn pug. I just had my fall check up at the vet and they say I am on the larger size for my breed. I love my morning and evening walks very much, and I get along well with the larger dog I am staying with. I am really good at using the dog door and I am house trained. I know basic obedience commands and just need some daily eye drops because I have a dry eye condition. I am on senior dog food to avoid weight gain and my dog food has joint benefits as well. I am a spunky lovable snuggler who will keep you company on the couch if you let me.

Col. Buttons
- Male, 1 years old
- Working on housetraining
- Special Needs: Has neurological issues that effect his walking
- Adoption fee: $350
HELLO!! My name is Colonel Buttons. I am a 1 year old male. I have been recently neutered and I am available for adoption now!
Unfortunately, I was born with some neurological difficulties that affect my ability to negotiate stairs. I can go up, but can’t go down yet. There is a possibility that I may have other neuro issues, but as of today, I haven’t given any reason to believe this.
I am still trying to learn how to go potty outside, and so I need someone that can be a little patient with accidents. The Doctor does not think that my accidents are related to my Neurological problems.
I started life with a breeder. When I was rescued, I was not very happy. I had spent most of my life in a cage. I didn’t really understand how to drink from a bowl. I wasn’t eating very well either. I weighed 5 pounds and was very sleepy all the time. It made me sad that my previous owners thought I wouldn’t be good enough to be a show dog.
But then Colorado Pug Rescue found me! I am so happy! I have lots of other brother and sister doaggies that are teaching me how to be a puppy. I LOVE to play with dogs AND kids. I have also learned that I LOVE to snuggle when I sleep at night. When people meet me, they cannot believe how cute I am. I dare you to resist my cuteness.
My parents were show dog champions. You can tell by my character, and even by the way I walk. I know I can be a champion companion for you and I desperately want a forever home.

- Adoption fee: $100
Nici is very sweet and curious. She loves belly rubs. She has a quiet bark. Nici can be a picky eater and her the nerve damage in her rear end affects er legs and hips. At times, she can be incontinent. Despite the nerve damage, she can get around fine and can climb stairs. Nici has been crated trained and enjoys sleeping on the couch and bed. Her previous owners may have been a little rough with her as it’s obvious she has been yelled at a and chased. All and all, Nici is fine in any situation — she is pretty much good with everyone including kids and other animals.
Ernie
Coco
- Female, 7 years old
- Good with dogs and kids
- Special needs: has 3 legs.
- Adoption fee: $300
Remember Stop Drop and Roll? Well, that is me to a tee. My name is Coco and I will stop, drop and roll for a belly rub ANY TIME! I am 7 year old female and I am used to being in a loving home. My owner had to give me up because she was having some health issues. The first thing you will notice when you meet me, is that I only have 3 legs. That makes it a little difficult for me to get on and off of furniture, up and down stairs, etc…..but it does not slow me down. I use my tail to balance me out and I do just fine. I am totally housetrained and don’t bark very much. I love to go for walks in my stroller. I am a little shy at first, but keep those belly rubs coming and I will warm up to you! I need drops in my eyes due to dry eye, but outside of that, I am healthy! If you think that you could be my next loving forever home, please put Coco on your application.
Caesar
- Male, 8 years old
- Good with dogs and older kids
- Puggle!
- Adoption fee: $300
Caesar is a highly active 8 year old puggle (pug beagle mix). He came from a loving and caring home. He is housebroken, loves to play, and is very friendly. He will chew up anything with a squeaky or stuffing in it so be sure to watch him at all times. He is kennel trained in case you need to leave him by himself. He has a great sense of smell (coming from the beagle side of him) and can find anything. He is good with other dogs and older children. At night he sleeps in his own doggy bed right next to his owners bed. He is a very good and sweet dog with no health issues.
Gus
- Male, 10 years old
- Fun loving!
- Good with everyone
- Specials Needs: needs proper diet and exercise to slim down.
- Adoption fee: $100
Gus’ owner recently died, and he was very sad and lonely. He has lived as the only dog in the house for all of his approximate 10 years. The vet thinks he could be a little bit younger. Gus is a bit heavy, coming in at 36 pounds. His past owner loved him very much and gave him a steady diet of “CHEESE ITS”. During his time with CPR, Gus has been on a regular diet, and is getting along great with all the other doggies in his foster home. He is reportedly good with cats, and does enjoy children. He does bark at strangers, but this seems to end very quickly after proper introductions. He is quite protective of the rest of his pack and especially his foster Mommy. Gus plays all day, so he should drop some weight quickly. His ideal weight is 22 lbs, so he has a lot of work ahead of him. If your looking for a good time, put Gus on your application!
