Due to the extremely low number of pugs in our rescue and the high number of applications we have been receiving from within the state, we are only considering in-state applications at this time. Hopefully, this low number of pugs being relinquished is a good sign for pugs in general. Utah residents can try Pugpals.org in Boise, Idaho. In Wyoming, check with Wyoming Pug Rescue.

NOTE: You will initially receive an email from our adoption coordinator. Later, when we have a dog that is a good match for you, you might receive an email from the dog's foster home. These emails come from the volunteers' personal email addresses. If you have a strong spam filter, the messages might never reach you.

I understand Colorado Pug Rescue receives approximately 500 adoption applications per year for only about 100 dogs and therefor, not every applicant is matched with a dog.
I understand Colorado Pug Rescue might not immediately have an available dog of the specific age, gender, and/or color I am requesting.
I understand that Colorado Pug Rescue will require payment of the adoption fee at the time of adoption. The adoption fees are as follows: Puppies up to one year of age - $500; Dogs one to three years of age - $450; Dogs four to eight years of age - $400; Dogs nine years of age and older - $200.

We will keep your application on file for six months as we continue to watch for a match for you. If six months have passed and you still wish to adopt from us, you are welcome to submit a new application.
