Colorado Pug Rescue

Hazel Grace came to CPR from a shelter in New Mexico.  She had some initial health concerns, but nothing antibiotics couldn’t help. Otherwise she is a healthy old lady.  Hazel Grace has such a sweet demeanor.  She loves to lay with you while you watch TV, sleep at your feet in the bed at night and loves her food. Sometimes she is hard to wake up because she is such a heavy sleeper.  She is a little underweight, so we are trying to fatten her up just a little.  She sits for treats and she has learned to use a doggie door.  She initially had a few housebreaking issues, but we believe it was mostly attributed to her UTI.  She is a little protective of the human she attaches to and wants to be your only canine companion. She seems to get along fine with other dogs. She has not been exposed to cats in her foster home.  She will follow you wherever you go. She does have quite a bit of energy for an older lady, but she also is content to lay down and take a nap wherever her human is. Please consider giving Hazel Grace a forever home.  She has so much love to give.
