Caesar
- Male, 8 years old
- Good with dogs and older kids
- Puggle!
- Adoption fee: $300
Caesar is a highly active 8 year old puggle (pug beagle mix). He came from a loving and caring home. He is housebroken, loves to play, and is very friendly. He will chew up anything with a squeaky or stuffing in it so be sure to watch him at all times. He is kennel trained in case you need to leave him by himself. He has a great sense of smell (coming from the beagle side of him) and can find anything. He is good with other dogs and older children. At night he sleeps in his own doggy bed right next to his owners bed. He is a very good and sweet dog with no health issues.
Raul
- Male, 4 years old
- Good with Goats!
- Good with everyone
- Specials Needs: Unsure of stairs.
- Adoption fee: $300
This 4 year old big black male is a perfect gentleman. He loves toys and the company of his foster sisters and brothers. No issues with big dogs, small dogs, cats, goats or children. He does not know many commands but is anxious to learn and play. I am scared of stairs, but know how to use a doggy door and eat in my crate. Raul has not displayed any food aggression– what he wants is to snuggle with his human companions and play, and you can always find him waiting for an open lap. He is playful and rarely barks! He is great on the leash, in the car, with kids, other dogs and loves being active. He will make a great addition to the family that adopts him. Remember Raul when you fill out your adoption application.
Gus
- Male, 10 years old
- Fun loving!
- Good with everyone
- Specials Needs: needs proper diet and exercise to slim down.
- Adoption fee: $100
Gus’ owner recently died, and he was very sad and lonely. He has lived as the only dog in the house for all of his approximate 10 years. The vet thinks he could be a little bit younger. Gus is a bit heavy, coming in at 36 pounds. His past owner loved him very much and gave him a steady diet of “CHEESE ITS”. During his time with CPR, Gus has been on a regular diet, and is getting along great with all the other doggies in his foster home. He is reportedly good with cats, and does enjoy children. He does bark at strangers, but this seems to end very quickly after proper introductions. He is quite protective of the rest of his pack and especially his foster Mommy. Gus plays all day, so he should drop some weight quickly. His ideal weight is 22 lbs, so he has a lot of work ahead of him. If your looking for a good time, put Gus on your application!
Tommy da Pug

- Possibly deaf and history of tumors

Spud
- Male, 4 years old
- Housebroken
- Good with dogs and kids
- Adoption fee: $300
Spud is amazing with kids! He lives with two 4 year old girls. They love to cuddle and play with him and he shows no signs of aggression. He plays right back with them or lets them scratch his belly and allows them to give him kisses. He loves his foster fur-sister dog, she is an 8 year old Boston Terrier. At first they ignored each other, but now when they come inside he tries to nibble at her ear to try and get her to play with him. He has had no issues playing outside with toys or running. He might bark once in a while, more due to the fact that his yard is backed up to a trail and there are a lot of other dogs and people running right behind. He gets very curious and likes to let everyone when someone is at or near our home. When the front door rings he might give a couple barks and run to the door area, but then when we open the door he just wants to give kisses. He seems to be a very good watch dog, he likes to sleep at the hallway between my door and my kids doors, like he need to protects us while we sleep at night or something.
He eats regular dry dog food, and he loves treats. He was a little chunk when we got him, so he really loves his food and treats. He stays off the furniture and he knows that when he comes in from outside he needs to settle down. He loves to sit at your feet and cuddle. He does well with baths and water. He is kennel trained as well, but we don’t keep him in a kennel, he has his own bed in our front room and he has had no potty issues since we got him.
He would be a perfect family dog, with other kids, people and other dogs. Or he would be a perfect companion for someone that wants someone to hang out with all day. He is not very rowdy, so even maybe someone older.
Miller
- Male, 10 years old
- Housebroken
- Good with dogs
- Adoption fee: $100
Miller is extremely active and agile. He is missing several teeth, but he eats dry dog food very well and small treat biscuits easily. He likes to jump and can clear a baby gate and a 3 foot fence. He does very well with the other pugs and large dogs, but he does like to be the center of attention when a human pack member is around. He likes to play ball as much as he likes to snuggle. His house manners are pretty good. He is mostly housebroken, but working on being a good boy. He is very good with adults, unsure how he would do with kids.
Toby
- Male, 7 years old
- Housebroken
- Good with dogs, cats, & kids
- Adoption fee: $300
Hi! My name is Toby and I am the sweetest pug you will ever meet. My owner had to surrender me due to unforeseeable family circumstances. They had me since I was a puppy and gave me lots of tender loving care — and it shows. My doctor says I am in excellent health! My foster mom is amazed at how quickly I adapted to my new temporary home. I get along with the resident dog (a large lab), and am perfectly fine with cats. My former owner had a two year old, and I loved being near her. When I first met the resident dog of the house, I decided to mark a couple of times, just to have some territory. But I have not done that since and only go to the bathroom outside. I bark when I hear strange noises or someone coming in the house, which makes my foster mom feel safe. My foster mom keeps me in a crate while she is at work all day, and I love it. I go right in and take my stuffed monkey Bobbie (pictured) with me. I enjoy walking, going along with my mom for short bike rides, going in the car and even running. I’m a little larger than your average pug, weighing in at 30 pounds. Give me a chance, and you will not regret it. I will make a great addition to your family.
Hoon
- Male, 13 years old
- Special Needs: daily cosequin
- Adoption fee: $100
Hoon is a very sweet 13 year old black male Pug. He was surrendered by his family due to the fact that he was marking a child’s toys. The child is now two, and was a recent addition to the family. He had a beagle brother, and had lived his entire life with the family. He was NOT fixed. Since coming to the Greeley Pug Ranch he has NOT marked or had ANY accidents indoors. When he arrived he had not been taking his arthritis meds. This has been resumed, and he is moving up and down stairs and playing with 5 other dogs. He does seem to like to be a protector of his mommy, but is also very sweet to males. He does great with kids. He is reportedly good with cats. Overall-very mellow and sweet, will make a terrific companion to someone with or without other dogs. Hoon is a quintessential pug!
Murphy
- Male, 5 years old
- Puggle
- Good with dogs and kids
- Housebroken
- Adoption fee: $300
Joey
- Brindle male, 2 years old
- Good with cats and dogs
- Mostly Housebroken
- Adoption fee: $350
Joey (formerly Yo-Yo) was a stray found wandering the streets and possibly abused. He either ran away or was abandoned. All we know about him is he is around 2 years old and is healthy. He gets along just fine with other dogs and cats and kids. He is energetic, loves to play fetch, go for walks, play at the dog park and sit on a warm lap to be petted. He uses the dog door and for the most part he is housebroken but he has “marked” in places. He would do well in a home where he has a yard to play in, other pets would be helpful, and a family willing to invest some time in basic training. If interested in Joey, please request him on the application.

Big Al
- Male, 11 or 12 years old
- Mostly good with cats and dogs
- Housebroken
- Adoption fee: $100
Hi my name is Alex but you can call me “Big Al”. I have been living the good life since being saved by Pug Rescue. I am 11 or 12 years old and have had a rough life. I was an “outside only” dog and am a pug! We are not outside only dogs!! You wouldn’t know it from my sweet, easy going personality though. I like to snuggle my humans on the couch all day if they let me! I also enjoy a slow stroll around the block to get the mail and supervising my humans while they do yard work. I get along fairly good with other dogs but do have an occasional cranky old man moment and snap at them. I really like cats and would like to play with them, however they do not like me back! I also like to wrestle with my humans and play with toys.
Since I am a little older, I do have some health concerns. I am mostly blind (I see shadows, I found and figured out the dog door on my own!) I don’t hear a whole lot and I am a little limpy. The vet with the rescue finally figured out that I needed thyroid medication and I am so much happier! I take it twice a day in my food and don’t even notice its there! Speaking of food, I am food agressive but eat just fine if you feed me away from any other dogs.
I am really looking for a quiet home where I can spend my senior years. I will keep your lap warm in the winter months and entertain you with my silly bark. Please help me find that home!
Bentley
- Male, 5 years old
- Adoption fee: $300
- More info coming soon…stay tuned!
When you first meet me, you may notice that my tongue likes to hang out a tiny bit. I was told once that only people and dogs who are heavy thinkers do that! Hi! My Name is Bentley, and I am 5 years old. My foster mom says that my name fits me because I look so stately with my big chest. I am house broken, and know how to use a doggie door. I will go into a kennel, but would prefer to be close to you instead. I am pretty laid back, but will also play tug-of-war with you if you want me to. Get ready for this teddy bear of a pug to become your best friend once we get to know each other better. I hope you will put my name on an adoption application soon!
