This is Benny. He is four years old. Benny came to us from a shelter a few weeks ago. The shelter had asked us for help because Benny is blind and needs his two damaged eyes removed. Shortly after Benny arrived, it was discovered he had pneumonia and two freshly cracked ribs. He has now recovered from those and is ready for his eye surgery.
According to Benny’s foster family, Benny is super sweet, smart, and finally starting to play with toys. He is excited for his people as soon as they walk into the house. In spite of his blindness, Benny actually trots in their yard!
Benny’s veterinary costs have already amounted to over $1300, and the estimate for his upcoming eye removal is another $2200 to $3000. This month’s expenses for other foster dogs, such as spays and neuters, dental care, nares and soft palate surgery, and tumor removal, have cut deeply into our funds.
Please help us with the cost of Benny’s eye surgery if you can. We welcome and appreciate any amount you can give. After overcoming broken ribs and pneumonia, Benny is so ready to have his eyes fixed so that he feels 100%!
