This is Chico. This is Chico’s tongue. Chico likes to be goofy, and that tongue? Well, you can always count on its being around. Chico is a youthful eight years old and a big giant HAM. He loves to cuddle and to beg for belly rubs, as you see in the picture. This guy is bursting with personality, love and affection. Chico getsexcited. Sometimes, his brain can’t slow down, and he has seizures. He has had them since he was just two years old, but there are many efforts being made to control them better. He is epileptic with no signs of a tumor or head trauma. He takes three pills a day to inhibit the seizures, but sometimes stress, excitement or too long without his meds will trigger a seizure. Maybe he is just used to it, but Chico doesn’t seem to think much about it and within minutes is the same ol’ goofball.

Chico’s tongue is displayed all the time, for his lack of teeth. Although he should eat wet food, he loves the challenge of dry food with just a bit of water added. He is still learning to use outside for tinkles but has made loads of progress since he has been training with us. He loves to have doggy friends, but also doesn’t mind being the center of attention. Cats and children are no problem for this stud; we think he just considers it more attention!

Chico will make a forever family very happy and keep them entertained for hours with his goofiness. Though he is currently seeing a specialist for his seizures, he is ready to become the new puggy love of your life!!
