Hi, my name is Rocky.  I am 6 years old and I have been doing very well while in foster care.  I used to live in a crate (kennel) during the day and during the night as well, but so far my life outside of the crate has really been nice.  I get the run of the house and have not had any issues being left alone while my foster parents are at work.  I love my am & pm walks. I also walk really well on a leash.  I do better with a collar vs. a harness for some reason, but my foster parents keep practicing putting a harness to get me more used to it.  Right now I live with one larger older dog  who is pretty mellow and he has showed me how to use the dog door to let myself into and out of the back yard on my own.  When we are out and about in the neighborhood I don’t mind kids, other dogs, bikes or strollers.  I have yet to meet a kitty cat so I have no idea about those.  I am a well adjusted happy go lucky guy that would really like to find my forever home.  I would do best in a home with children over 12 since being picked up and smothered is not my favorite thing.  I like my independence and will snuggle up to you. PS – I don’t snore at night.
