HELLO!!  My name is Colonel Buttons.  I am a 1 year old male.  I have been recently neutered and I am available for adoption now!

Unfortunately, I was born with some neurological difficulties that affect my ability to negotiate stairs.  I can go up, but can’t go down yet. There is a possibility that I may have other neuro issues, but as of today, I haven’t given any reason to believe this.

I am still trying to learn how to go potty outside, and so I need someone that can be a little patient with accidents.  The Doctor does not think that my accidents are related to my Neurological problems.

I started life with a breeder. When I was rescued, I was not very happy.  I had spent most of my life in a cage.  I didn’t really understand how to drink from a bowl.  I wasn’t eating very well either.  I weighed 5 pounds and was very sleepy all the time.   It made me sad that my previous owners thought I wouldn’t be good enough to be a show dog.

But then Colorado Pug Rescue found me!  I am so happy! I have lots of other brother and sister doaggies that are teaching me how to be a puppy.  I LOVE to play with dogs AND kids. I have also learned that I LOVE to snuggle when I sleep at night.  When people meet me, they cannot believe how cute I am.  I dare you to resist my cuteness.

My parents were show dog champions.  You can tell by my character, and even by the way I walk.  I know I can be a champion companion for you and I desperately want a forever home.
