Lucy is an 11 year old female that came to us because her owners could no longer care for her. She is a petite pug with so much love to give. She is huggable and loveable with the sweetest disposition. Lucy has some degenerative back disease that is common in pugs. This has caused her to have lost some feeling in her back legs. She can still walk fine, but occasionally loses her footing on tile or wood floors. The vet does not think this condition can be corrected by surgery, but only an MRI would confirm that. She knows how to use a dog door and occasionally has loss of bowel control due to the degenerative back disease. This has not been an issue in her foster home as it is a rare occasion and it is very easy to pick up. She is very embarrassed when this occurs as she cannot help it. Lucy is such a bright spot in her foster home, she needs a home where love is the ruling principle and where she can be your snuggle buddy. Please consider adopting Lucy, she will only enrich your life!
