One of our foster pugs has received necessary surgery for herniated discs pressing on her spinal cord. The pressure was causing difficulty using her hind legs. Without surgery, damage would have continued and her condition would have worsened. Due to her history, we cannot publicly identify this sweet girl, but please know she is cute, smart, alert, and very interested in everything she sees and hears. In the days following surgery, she was progressing really well. Then she suffered a setback, resulting in reduced strength in her rear legs. This has lengthened her hospital stay, adding to the anticipated cost of her treatment. Please help us if you can. All donations are appreciated; no amount is too small.

UPDATE: Many thanks to all who have given so far! An anonymous donor has very generously offered to match all donations dollar for dollar up to $2500. This exciting offer doubles the value of every dollar we receive from you. If you are able to help, your help will make a difference.
