Hi, my name is Marty. I am about the
cutest, happiest pug you will ever meet, even though I have had a hard time
lately. I was found as a stray and brought to the Pueblo shelter, where I was
rescued by Colorado Pug Rescue. I love my new foster family because I love
EVERYBODY! My foster mom cannot figure out why anyone would let me be a stray
because I am just about perfect!
I have some trouble with my joints and a touch of arthritis, and my vet says
some glucosamine should help me feel like a young pug for now. My forever family
will have to keep tabs on my hips to make sure they are doing OK. I also have a
common pug issue with my right eye, and I need drops for the rest of my life.
These drops are so weird; I try to eat them but my foster mom eventually gets
one straight in my eye! I try to eat everything that comes towards my mouth
though, and my foster mom is working to keep my figure fit and trim by not
giving me all the snacks I want.
I follow everyone around the house and love to watch TV with the kids in my
foster home. I snuggle up next to my foster mom and dad at night and sometimes
try to share the pillow. I always have a big smile on my cute puggy face, and my
nose is just a tad long for a pug, which means I do not snort and snore near as
much as most pugs. Bonus!
If you are looking for a very handsome pug with no bad habits (except pilfering
snacks), personality to spare and TONS of pug love to give, could you put Marty
down on your adoption application? I’d appreciate that about as much as I’d
appreciate a snack right about now...
