Cut your own Christmas tree and make a donation to Colorado Pug Rescue! Travel to southwest Elbert County (about an hour’s drive from the junction of 470 & I-25) where you can choose, cut and haul your own tree while enjoying a view of Pikes Peak. The trees (3-9ft tall) are long-needled native Ponderosa Pine – not nursery grown and trimmed. Trees are on private property, not a commercial tree cutting lot. Minimum donation is $10, though more is gladly accepted. All money goes directly to CPR. Families and dogs are welcome.  Email Terry at tcxtwo@aol.com (with the subject line of CPR Christmas Trees) for directions and to make arrangements for your tree-cutting adventure in scenic, rural Elbert County.
