This is Pepe.  He is a 3 yr old small pug mix (approximately 15 lbs) with no medical issues.  He has some chug and puggle characteristics.  A little dog with a big attitude. He came to Pug Rescue from a shelter in New Mexico where his owner relinquished him because he kept running away.

He is a true escape artist but has settled down a little since we got him neutered.  Before he escaped to run away.  Now he only escapes to chase a rabbit/squirrel or follow one of us when we are outside of the yard.  He always wants to be around his humans.  He goes in his kennel when no one is home.

He is very very sweet and loves to play with his foster brother and sister.  He does very well with cats and small children as well. He loves to play with toys and chase balls and of course go for walks.

His ideal home would be one that he was seldom if ever left alone.  He has a lot of energy so he needs to be walked and played with daily. His new owner will need to be committed to him and he will be loyal to them.

Anyone that meets him will fall in love with him.
