My name is Otis and I am a handsome boy..only 9 years young! I came to CPR with health issues that could have been prevented. However, my foster family had me all fixed up and I am ready for my forever family. Some things you should know about me..my tongue sticks out..all the time. It is tough to hold it in since I only have 3 teeth and they are in the back! I like my kibble mixed with something soft please!

I am also blind, but I can tell the difference between light and dark. My foster family took me to the eye doctor and he said I will stay that way for life and will need some drops daily. The drops cost about 35 dollars a month. But do not feel bad for me because I cannot see and am all gums! I get around really well. My foster mama says I am can map a room quicker than anyone she knows! When I figure out where the couch is you can be sure I will jump up on it to find my soft spot. I am also pretty good at counting stairs. I know how many there are and I ever so carefully walk up and down.

During the day I hang out in a kennel. Not big deal because at 9 I like to sleep all day. I am a pug after all! At night I like to sleep next to my humans. I get pretty worried without my people when the house is dark.

I am housetrained, but have some accidents when I am trying to figure out where the door is for outside. I can be a bit stubborn and need a strict schedule. I am most happy when I know exactly what is expected of me.

You should know that I love kids and other dogs! I can be quite playful once I trust my surroundings and enjoy another dog who like to wrestle, but not too rough.

My foster mom says I like cats. I am not sure where the cat is, but once in a while I get a brush of a tail across my face and I like to give a brisk walk in that direction. My foster mom says that is all the chase I have in me and the cat has the upper hand. Darn cat!

I love car rides and do fine on a leash in public if I know my human is touching me. My foster family likes to let me lean on their legs once in a while when we are out walking so I know I am safe.

I am very quiet and do not bark too often. I am basically your all around good dog who adapts quickly and really needs a kind human who likes to snuggle.
