This adorable little guy is Dozer.  He is a pug mix, most likely with Chihuahua or a Chug as they are called.  He is 6 months old, neutered, healthy, energetic, sweet and very lovey.   Dozer likes to follow you around the house everywhere, play fetch with any toy and give lots of kisses.  When he settles down, he likes a little belly rub and snuggling in for a hug.  Dozer likes to play a little with his foster sister but also resource guards his foster mommy and fights with his sissy.  He is young and eager to be a good boy, he would be best as an only dog in his forever home OR in a home that has a dedicated experienced dog owner willing to work with him or seek training.  Dozer has shown some interest in kids but would be best in a home with older children.  He doesn’t warm up to men right away but with a little time, love and patience he does.  Being a puppy full of joy, energy and love he will need a little guidance.  He is working hard on reliable house training but still has a few accidents here and there.  Dozer is being crate trained to assist in his training.   His foster mommy is pretty sure he has never been on a leash before, until he came into the rescue.  Dozer likes getting out and going for walks but is getting used to a leash and how to walk well on one.   He has been known on occasion to dive under covers, lay in your freshly laundered clothes basket, perch on a purse, chase rabbits and birds, play tug-o-war, and sleep on a chair that’s tucked under the table.  Dozer does pretty well on car rides but will cry/whine a little bit.   Hey it can be a big scary world for a cutie patootie little puppy!  Puppy kisses and hugs are waiting for you.   If you think you could be his forever home, please put Dozer on your application.
