Colorado Pug Rescue

Hi, I’m Bernie! I’m told I’m quite handsome. I do have one eye, but I have so much energy and love, you wouldn’t know the difference. I came to CPR because my previous family went on vacation and left me behind; I was living in the backyard for many months before the neighbors called CPR.  I’m so thankful to CPR for all medical care provided to me since being rescued and my foster family (both furry and human).  CPR doesn’t know much about me, but we estimate I’m four years old.

As I said before, I have lots of energy! I act very much like a puppy; I play with chew toys and love to play tug of war with my foster pug brother. I enjoy walks and I do great with kids and other pugs. My foster family uses a baby gate when they’re not home, so I sleep on my pet couch and don’t have accidents. I do occasionally mark, but my foster family is working with me on correcting that behavior.
I’m a great snuggler in bed and I love to be on your lap when we’re watching tv.
