Colorado Pug Rescue

Hi, I’m Simon!  I’m approximately 11 years old. Colorado Pug Rescue is taking good care of me because my daddy is very sick and my mommy has to take good care of him! I’m glad they’re helping me out. I am a snuggle bug, and my favorite thing is to hang out in my foster mommy’s lap. In fact, that’s where I am right now. I am mostly blind and a pretty anxious guy in general, so I feel safe and loved when I’m with my people. I can see light and shadows in one eye, enough to get around and not bump into things. I have trouble with stairs because I can’t see that far down, but I only weight 16 pounds, so I’m easy to carry around. I need eye ointment and eye drops daily to keep my dry eyes from getting worse. I get very nervous in strange situations or when I can’t find my people. I howl and will mark in the house. My foster mommy has put a wrap on me to keep the house nice even when I’m upset, and it works great. She is also giving me “chill pills” every day which really help me to feel happier and more relaxed. Due to anxiety and some other medical issues, CPR has made a commitment to me and I will stay with them permanently.
